So, this week is Mental Health Awareness Week, with the theme of relationships.
Having and maintaining healthy, positive relationships are crucial to our mental health; I know that from experience. But I’ll share my story another day this week.
Having an unhealthy, negative relationship, albeit with a friend, family member, partner, or colleague – can be detrimental to your mental health, and you may not even realise it’s happening.
You can change that. Be open, and address the issue of there is one. Tell them how you feel, let them know if it’s affecting you negatively, and, if worst comes to worst – it may be time to let that person go.
